It may be the largest city in a country renowned for its watch making skills, but scattered across the Zurich skyline are enough clock-towers that you don’t need a watch to be on time.
Clocks aren’t the only thing on display in Zurich though, it has more shopping than a shopaholic could throw a stick at, a beautiful lake to walk around, hiking galore in the surrounding hills and for us, it also had good friends to catch up with.
While luxury European cars are the transportation of choice, that doesn’t mean that locals don’t enjoy riding their bikes too.
Zurich is beautiful, it’s quaint and it’s very well kept. It’s full of fascinating architecture and views of the city pierced by steep steeples and clocks reminding us not to be late for dinner with friends.
What a pretty place! I love all the clock towers, I had no idea there were so many.
Yes, it was so pretty. I wasn’t sure what to expect so it was a pleasant surprise.
