Travelling in the low season isn’t always the best time to travel. There’s a reason why the high season is so popular to travel. But for us, travelling in the low-season to Otres, in the south of Cambodia, was one of the best things we did. Sure the wind was strong, the sky was often grey and there were waves crashing on the beach, but it meant we could spend days on the almost deserted beached, enjoying ridiculously cheap accommodation.
We were able to make friends with the local dog who had a thing for walking on his back legs.
The biggest traffic jam was due to cows being herded up the road.
Why did the chicken cross the road? We don’t know for sure, but we do know that he made it to the other side.
Just.
We had fresh fruit and seafood delivered directly to us.
And it meant we were able to see the most amazing sunset in our entire time in Asia. #nofilter.
This Blog has a very relaxed feel to it. A nice holiday. Love the Racer crossing the road and the traffic Jam. The Sunset is outstanding.
