I’ve recently moved to Madrid, so I’m not sure if it really counts as On the Road or not. Anyway, here are a few photos to give you a taste of my life and where I’m living nowadays.
The Plaza Mayor, where Ana Botella recommends you “have a relaxing cup of café con leche.”
The lake at Parque del Retiro, my favourite place to spend Sunday afternoon in the sun, especially now the days are getting a lot colder and I need any sun I can get.
Looking back at the Palacio Real or Royal Palace from Parque del Oeste.
The Templo de Debod at sunset.
Street art in my neighbourhood
Delicious tapas at the tapas festival in Lavapiés, Tapapiés.
The view from my window, I love waking up everyday and realising I’m in Spain.
Looking toward Madrid from a hike in the hills behind Manzanares el Real.
The Christmas tree in Puerta del Sol. I can’t wait until they turn the lights on.
Looking forward to experiencing Madrrid with you soon
Ah you live in Malasana! I lived there last year. It’s a wonderful barrio. 🙂
Yes, I do! I love Malasaña, it’s such a great neighbourhood to live in 🙂
